Adventures in... muddy jeans, & winter sunshine / edit me {week 6}

     I had to share these pics! Jaxy & I went on a nice long walk a couple days ago. I was just going to enjoy spending time with my boy, & not be distracted by taking pictures. So I left my new slr, Ceecee, at home. We had such a fun walk, were on our way back home... then I realized I had Henry, my point & shoot, in the stroller. Well, I wasn't go to argue w/ fate...

So we just had to "break in" (walk through the gate) to the neighbors Christmas tree farm...

Why hello there Mr. Tree...

Jax was able to find one tree I will actually let him climb!

we really do live out in the country.

Sweet Shot~ My lil sweet stuff & SWEET news!

    Hello my lovelies! It has been quite the exciting past few days at this mamas house! So if you've followed me for a while you know I am the proud mama of one cutie patootie named Jax. I'm also kinda a picture taking freakaziod when it comes to pictures. (especially of monkey(Jax)) Thirdly you probably know that I have wanted a "fancy big girl camera," FOREVER YO. For flippn EVER! Guess what...? The Canon Fairy, & my handsome honey made my dream come true! I can't wait to introduce you to the Canon Fairy,  my new baby girl (aka my new camera) & tell ya'll all about it tomorrow.

we are headed to the Dollar Tree Store baby!

I told him he can pick out ANY toy he wants!

Edit Me~ {week 4}

    Hey all! This weeks photo was taken by the famous Miss Ashley Sisk! This lady is just all around awesome, & I have learned so much from all her great photo tips & tutorials!

This picture was already pretty darn adorable.

I wanted to focus on this sweet little guy so I started off w/ a close crop.
Upped the exposure just a bit, & lowered the contrast
Played around w/ Saturation by increasing a little
added focus to the lil man, by blurring out the back of couch & blanket
used the air brush effect to soften up his already soft face
added an ortan action to give the babe a soft glow
cloned the top right corner of the couch to take away the bright light,
I just thought it added more focus to the baby!

I edited this using Elements 9, then Picnik for the rounded corners & shadow frame

Cropped the same edit much closer & changed it to b&w
