Yesterday morning

Every morning we have a routine.

Jax wakes mommy up.

I stumble to the kitchen for monkey's OJ & mama's coffee....

Jax drinks juice & watches cartoons in mama's bed.

Yesterday morning though...

I saw this cute bum looking out the window.

What was so darn interesting...?

    Hello my lovelies. Geesh! I (kind of) figured the whole "not being able to post," issue. For some reason my browser wasn't working correctly w/ Blogger, even though there was never a problem before? Any whoooo... a sweet soul told me to try opening Blogger through Google Chrome, AND walla, here we are. Hallelujah! Holy moly, what how did I ever live before blogging?! Heheee... prob got a lot more done! No, seriously this whole bloggy world has brought so much joy to my life. I LOVE the dear sweet friends I've made! The laundry will be still be there tomorrow, just a much bigger pile! 

    Darn it, we have the sickies at our house right now. Monkey is not feeling like the wild Curious George he usually is. Mommy feels like she's been hit by a train, & her head is going to EXPLODE. Basically a super DUPER bad version of your normal head cold. Yep... no fun here. Like every mommy, my heart just breaks to see my baby sick.  I have got some of the best cuddles, & sweet quiet time w/ my boy though.  We are both ready to get back to feeling good... Please Jesus, let's have that be at the same time!

Adventures in... Mr Seriously CUTE & getting to know my 1st slr

OMGGGGooodness.

   

    I am having SO much fun with CeeCee (my pretty new/1st slr)! I am really getting the whole "your pictures may get a little A LOT worse, before they get better," saying! Oh am I ever!  Practice makes such a huge difference, though, & I am already noticing a slight difference in my images. I've been trying to always shoot in AV mode, but get super frustrated when I miss a great shot because I have my settings all wrong. Oh well, that's how you learn! I did just realize I've had my camera on the wrong auto focus setting this entire time! Hopefully that will make a little difference... ya think?! Lol)  I've been watching a million tutorials, read my entire manual... but it's just not completely clicking just yet. I guess I need to cut myself a little slack, I have only had Ceecee for less than a month now. If any of my lovely bloggy pals have any tips, links, or tutorials that helped you, I would be super SUPER grateful!  Please know I'm not posting these because I think they are amazing perfect photos. (Though my little man is perfect & A-mazing) I just want to document my journey of this great love I have, for photography AND (of course) my sweet handsome little boy!

This or That Thursday~ {the last of Christmas jollies} i promise

Yes. I promise. This is the very last of our Christmas pics. I've shared Christmas Eve, Christmas morning at home, & now Christmas day at the G's (aka Jax's Grandpa & Grandma... aka Gma & Gpa). I know, what a cool name for the grandparents, hey?! Yep. That's just how we roll. Yo! This was also the day the 3 of us, stayed in our jammies all Christmas long. The only problem though, we were the ONLY ones in our jams. (thanks to my honey, he said ALL would still be in their comfy PJ's) Uhmmm... no. Everyone was dressed all cute, IN CLOTHES.  Good thing they're family, so we don't have to care, & they still have to love us anyways! It was a really good Christmas with our sweet family!
