our weekend in photos~ 4th of July

Nothing like the excitement of fireworks & a sunshiny pool,
to tucker this happy Jax out!
Seriously, that pool is the best "nap time helper" since the bouncy swing!

meet my mad genius! Yo.
ok. dude. this little dude just...
This still amazes me & it happened a couple days ago, so I had to share. We are big movie nuts at our house. Mr Jax is starting to be quite the BIG/little movie nut. One of his fav's (mine too) is "Up." Love that dang movie! Any whooo... we love to sit on the kitchen floor & play w/ our ABC magnets. He likes to make groups of same colors or same letters. Out of no where this little dude... grabbed a U & a P, put them together, & simply said UP?!! He wanted to watch it.

After posting this, I realized I did have a picture to enter in this weeks Trendy Treehouse challenge! The theme is "just for the kids," a picture taken by your child. Jax is starting to love mommy's camera. He is finally realizing to not point the lens directly up his cute lil nose! Let's just say I have a ton of "buger shots!" For some reason I can't bring myself to delete most of them. Crazy mama. I will always love this last shot, & remember how proud I was of my mad genius! I think he was pretty proud as well.

I'll never forget this moment. Jax found this GI-normous wishy flower(dandelion), & climbed to the top of his play set. It took this little bug a very VERY long time climbing up the ladder, with his new favorite thing! I shot this the second he reached the "summit." Then a big gust of wind came, and blew his pretty away. I adore all the different emotions on his face, confused, mad, sad, shocked! He's like.... r-e-a-l-l-y...REALLY???! He immediately giggled, handed it to me, & was off to find another! It was just about the saddest/sweetest thing I'd ever seen. Good thing we have plenty of pretty wishy flowers to pick from! Lol.

Shutter love tuesday~ summer fun!
summer fun
We are having so much fun soakn up the sunshine this summer! Summer fun for us is anything outside. We can spend 20 mins or 2 hours out in the yard, & when it's time to come inside, the tears start a rollin. This little dude would live outside, if we let him. Good thing it's summer time. Bring on the fun, bring on the tears. (haha... sorry. Couldn't help myself.)
These shots make my heart all warm n' fuzzy.
I love how you can almost feel the warmth of the summer sun,
shining down on my happy jax.
I can surely feel how much he loves this old guitar!
