A Picture Story~ {25th Anniversary Party} SURPRISE!

This sweet girl...
threw her mama (&daddy) the most A-mazing 25th SURPRISE anniversary party.
It was simply a BEAUTIFUL night to remember.
I'm sure her parents will never forget it.
Kel's & her lovely girlfriends can sure throw a party, let me tell ya.
caution:
I am not the proudest of all of these shots. I LOVE the pretty people in them (obviously), but I'm just not used to shooting at night... outside... w/ out flash. I couldn't have done this at all w/out my new nifty-fifty though. Just warning you some of these suck... just a little. lol) I really don't care though, I love learning how to shoot manually in different situations. Practice. Practice, and more practice!
Some of my most loved photos are perfectly imperfect!

 Stephanie, Kelsey, & Micaya
freaking out waiting for Greg & Debbie to drive up!
Jaxy joining Steph on the watching & waiting...
Sister & Brother. Awww.
BAhahaaa... where did the Transformers Auto-bot logo go that WAS on his shirt?
Lol... got cha babe)
The love birds finally arrived!
Love these pretty dancen' fools!

I think your pictures turned out wonderfully. I have the hardest time with night-shoots. This is a skill I really want to improve this summer with all of the outdoor events coming up!

I love that you captured the moment. :)

You're a bit too hard on yourself. These are lovely captured memories. The more you shoot at night, the more you'll embrace it! Nice job, mama!

Girl you are way too hard on yourself! These are great! Looks like fun too! I have a question though: When you take photos of Jax are they usually with a flash? I'm just wondering. They look like they are not but I'm not that experienced.

I'm normally completely unaffected by photos but I have to say that these photos brought a tear to my eye - what a perfect way to capture it all x

Your pics turned out great. I can't imagine trying to take a picture in the dark with no flash. It would come out so blurry. And that was so kind of her to do that for her parents. What a sweet girl.

You are so hard on yourself, but I totally get it! I took some photos at Stella's party (haven't posted, but will) and they are crap! All mid-day-sun-harsh-shadows. Uggh! Every experience makes you that much better! And I think these are wonderful!! Nice work!
