YOOHOO {flippn HOOO.}

Hi friends.
Our dear dear neighbor/GOOD friend, chuck, passed away from Leukemia.
He is, at least, no longer suffering & as Jaxy says... up in the happy clouds w/ "Jezooz".
We're all taking this a little harder than I thought we would.
I thought we knew it was coming, & had a little time to process, we wouldn't be SO heart broken.
WRONG-O.
AT LEAST.... I have this happy happy boy, to make his mama smile.
Friends, please bare w/ me. I'll be taking a teeny bloggy break. I think?
Talk to you all soon. LOVE. XO
THIS. Smile. Cures my soul.

P/S This last week I've been working on, getting good photos, even under not perfect circumstances.
Example: The above shots, under extreme harsh sunshine... which we all know = those ugly harsh shadows.
If you can find a little shade great, but if not, don't let that keep you from capturing those special moments!
Lol... sometimes I have to remind my self... this is my son... I'm not doing a session! Dur.

It never matters how long you know it's coming, it's still sad and very hard when it finally happens. Take care. Sweet shots, and now the true challenge. What do we do with Juneuary??? AAAACCCCKKK!

Oh, no....so sorry, my friend. My BFF from college was taken by leukemia many years ago. No fun.

Sending lots of hugs and prayers to Chuck's family, and of course you. (I know that sweet smile does help a lot, tho.) XO!

I visited your blog a couple of days ago and things weren't looking too good for your neighbour - I really am sorry. Just that walking around every minute with this in your heart is tough. Your pictures of your little one are so lovely and am glad that's giving you at least a minute's break too.

So sorry for your loss...it's always difficult no matter how much time you have to prepare.

Good thing you have that handsome little man.

So then this is a good thing; no more suffering! You're right though, it doesn't make it any easier and I'm sure he will be missed by all! It's amazing how much a child can cheer you up though. They are like tiny little antidepressants ;o) Jax is so smart too; it's amazing he really gets it; the whole Chuck being in the happy clouds! Gorgeous pics Melanie!

Oh no, it's hard to prepare and know how you will feel in such a difficult situation. No matter how long you have to process it. My heart is with you all :)

Oh, I'm so so so sorry, sweet friend! I'll be praying for you guys and his family. At least he isn't suffering anymore, but I know that it is still very hard. I'll miss you on your bloggy break, but if that's what you need then take it!

About those direct sun photos, AWESOME! You are doing great, I absolutely hate direct sunlight and avoid it at all cost, but those are pretty great captures there!

So sorry to hear of your friend. We lost my husband's grandfather and had about a month to prepare...it didn't make it any easier when he passed away. Not at all. Lovely photos of your son.

So sorry to hear about your neighbor. I worked at a funeral home for six years, and no matter how long you have to prepare yourself, death is so final. Great photos of the cutie patootie camera ham!

Oh honey - so sorry to hear about your neighbor. So sorry. I'm thankful he is no longer in pain and wishing peace for his family. And, on a brighter note, that's one seriously cute kid you've got there! Well done on those shots - not easy in the strong, harsh light of day! Every one is just super! Hugs!
