wordless wednesday~ seceret garden

Wordless Wednesday /  (well kinda)
Just about every afternoon, before nap time, shorty & I take a walk through our neighborhood. It's a fabulous way to shake off the  wonderfully crazy energy of a 2 1/2 year old. This day we were pleasantly surprised, stumbling upon a secret enchanted garden. It was filled with windy flower lined pathways &... OK, It was an undeveloped lot w/out a new house built on it  yet. But there was a dirt path & beautiful yellow "weedlike" flowers. My little man picked his mama countless dandelions, & had tons of fun playing w/ a stick. Yes. A stick. Boys!

this will never get old

My little brother was terrified of flowers at that age. We shouldn't have told him they were alive!

We do this too, everyday before nap time. Such a good way to wind down, huh? Such a cutie!

Isn't it wonderful how they can see the beauty in everyday things?
